The Mórrígan, one almighty Goddess of War from Irish Mythology.
My depiction of her stems from her appearance in one of Ireland's most famous epic tales, An Táin Bó Cuailnge.
When her amorous advances to the hero Cúchulainn are rebuffed she makes it her mission to become a thorn in his side. In this story she appears as a beautiful woman, a hag, an eel, a cow and a crow, which is how I have depicted her here.
This design is based off of my mural in Drogheda.
